Dr. Matt Anderson

Dr. Matt Anderson received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1989. He worked with his father Dr. John Anderson up until his retirement in 2002, serving the Zumbrota and surrounding areas dairy and beef producers. While he enjoys many aspects of his veterinary work he most enjoys working with baby calf treatments. Dr. Matt lives in Zumbrota with his wife Stacey and their daughters Gretta and Neva.

Dr. Mark Debner

Dr. Mark Debner was originally from Iowa where he was raised with his three brothers on a family farm. His undergraduate degree was from Iowa State University in 1982 in Dairy Science. He spent 5 years of dairy farming before returning to school where he got his veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992. He has practiced in four different vet clinics, spent 2 years managing a dairy farm, and 2 years as a Nelson Dairy Nutrition consultant during his vet career. Dr. Mark has been with Anderson Vet Service for over 14 years.

Dr. Mark enjoys working with the Anderson Vet Clinic staff and clientele. Dr. Debner utilizes his dairy farm experience to establish practical sick cow treatments. He also thinks the health of an animal/farm is related directly to their nutrition and does general nutritional consulting. He has a hobby farm with some beef cows, Boer goats, 2 horses, and of course cats and a dog. He has been married for over 30+ years to his wife, Brenda, and they have four kids.

Dr. Amy Dahlke

Dr. Amy Dahlke graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Following graduation, she practiced food animal medicine in Grantsburg, WI for 2 years. She is originally from a small farm near Hamburg, MN where her family raised beef cows and sheep. Dr. Amy’s parents were both veterinarians and she has very fond memories of spending weekends with her family riding around on farm calls. Amy was very involved in 4-H and that is where she met her husband, Dr. Chris. Amy enjoys all aspects of food animal medicine but is especially interested in milk quality and calf care. In her free time, she enjoys camping, running, and spending time with her husband, Chris, and baby daughter, Leah.

Dr. Janna Bauer

Dr. Janna Bauer graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, she practiced food animal medicine in western Wisconsin for two years. Her main interests are calf health and milk quality, but she enjoys all aspects of food animal medicine. She is originally from Hastings, MN where she grew up on her family’s dairy, beef and crop farm and was active in 4-H, FFA and dairy judging. Janna, her husband Eric and their six-month-old son, Henry are excited to be moving back to Minnesota. When Dr. Janna isn’t working she enjoys spending time with family, running and downhill skiing.

Dr. Rachel Friese

Dr. Rachel Friese graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Upon graduation, Rachel practiced mixed animal medicine in eastern South Dakota for two years before returning to Minnesota. Her main veterinary interests are bovine reproduction and transition cow health. She also enjoys working with small ruminants. She grew up on a small registered Holstein dairy farm in Wanamingo, MN and was active in 4-H, FFA, and MN Junior Holstein Association. She has two pets: a cat named Shasta and a dog named Mildred. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys being with her nieces and nephews, traveling to new places, camping, and attending cattle shows.
